A new shot for my Heroes and Villains portfolio
Sharon’s dress is painted so that it appears to have light splashing on it. Adding the sun seemed like the perfect compliment.
Sometimes the best shots are me totally static, with my model filling the frame with glorious motion.
Model: Brookly
Somewhere during today’s shoot, and continuing into my post processing, I decided to really try something new, at least for me. Typically I’m very exacting about doing just the right amount of post processing so that my images look natural. That said, heavy post processing, and an almost artificial look is definitely in vogue, and I don’t think it’s going anywhere. Hyper real can be pretty cool. This is an interesting blend of the ages, as the overall feel is vintage, but the final look is not. Thanks to my model Brooklyn for making today’s shoot a success.
This is from a new series I’m working on. You can see more like this on my home site. In my perfect world, the new Dark Knight film would have been advertised as a series of photos, with a different character in each layout.
